Portrait FAQs
Here are answers to commonly asked questions about portrait photography sessions:
1. How long is the session?
While sessions are typically 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs in length, they can be anywhere in between. A few minutes may be all that is needed to take a head shot for a website while an extended session may be necessary for other purposes.
2. Do you take portraits of families?
Yes. I do family portrait sessions. I will come to your home, have you and your family come to my studio, or go to a beautiful outdoor Colorado location for the session.
3. Do prints come with the session?
No. I provide an electronic image of the photo session that is suitable for only small prints. Enlargements can be purchased as part of several packages that are available.
4. What should we wear for a portrait session?
This completely depends on the mood you are looking for. A business portrait will require different clothing than a relaxed portrait. However, certain clothing choices can make or break a session so it is best to consult with me beforehand if you have any questions.
5. Do you take suggestions for portrait session themes?
Yes. I encourage clients to participate in the process and work with me to create the best possible final product. New ideas are always welcome!
